Iexplorer using vast amounts of memory

    Hi Guys please be gentle with me as this is my first post
    I noticed my laptops fan was on most of the time running fast so I opened task manager and it shows cpu usage at least 60,to 100%,I then looked at processes running and noticed 4 instances of iexplorer running, 1 was using 337mb,the 2nd 145mb,third 132mb and so on,the one using the most was also using 50% of the cpu,this cannot be right ,can any kind soul help be please
