Hi,

I have somehow downloaded iGuardPC onto my computer, which I have recently found out was a virus. I have found several websites which illustrated how to manually remove the program and remove some pieces of information through regedit, however, the pesky little program is still there and I can't get rid of it. My regedit log appears clear and the program was uninstalled. Any suggestions

Here is my hijack this log.

The lines highlight in bold make me wonder?

Can't do it with just HijackThis! Please follow the Steps HERE

When you have finished, leave the 3 logs. You will need to rescan with HJT after the two other programs and leave new log. It's our job to point out the bad entries in HJT. You will find the other programs will assist in removals.

Thanks. The instructions were great - it worked.
I believe the program 'Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware' found the problem.

Thanks!

I would prefer to check the logs and see if any other programs are recommended. I would also help you remove the cleaning tools and old restore points when you are clean.

However, you consider this problem Solved. So consider the thread closed.
