I am wondering if anyone has come across a variant of pastebin/pastie.org, that deals with images.

Photobucket requires a login. 'chan imageboards don't keep the pictures indefinitely.

I mean, this would require a ton of storage, but it'd be a useful service anyway. Anyone heard of a production service, or know of one in the works?

Google Plus's photos (formerly Picasaweb?), but then thats not really anonymous. Imgur is really simple and easy to upload, but I have no idea how long they keep stuff, but you can literally upload a group of pics as fast as your connection allows without logging in (they also strip the exif data out).
