    i just put a new computer together and everything seems right but i dont know how to install windows

    Do you have a real version of Windows? All you have to do is get into the BIOS by hitting delete (or F1, it tells you upon post) and making sure that you have it set up to boot from cd BEFORE your hard disk. Then put your windows cd in, reboot, and it will begin automatically.

    If you are putting together a new computer with no operating system pre-installed on it, and you only have an upgrade CD, then you will also need to have your OLD CD available because it will ask for it to make sure that you actually own an older OS.
    But other than that, do as SNGX has said and it should work just fine.

    the boot disk didnt work. that was my problem. but problem solved. thanks for the replys.
