Hey guys, I just did a fresh reinstall of Windows 7 - 64 bit on my computer. I had 32 bit in the past. When I open the basic info page it shows that im running 32 bit :/ My computer says its 64 bit capable, and I have 16 gigs of ram insalled, the main reason why I want 64 bit... Any suggestions as to why im seeing this?
    Thanks guys

    You need to upgrade it.

You can't upgrade to 64-bit Windows 7 - the media you're using must have been 32-bit - perhaps it's mislabeled. You have to do a fresh install of a 64-bit OS. Maybe you installed it alongside your old 32-bit install? Look on your C: drive and see if there is an old Windows folder there as well.
