Intel 28-core fantasy vs. AMD 32-core reality

I advise any tech enthusiasts to check out AdoreTV on youtube with his video of Intel's scams through out the last few decades. This recent news is just another antic of theirs....truly deplorable.

I understand that Intel did some dubious things. But releasing AM3+ motherboards before Bulldozer was released and hyping that they had a SandyBridge Killer is also a pretty good scam.

There is a reason intel paid a billion dollar fine.

When it comes to a list of who has done what intel wins that hands down.

Isn't this all just posing, on both sides of the aisle, until there's some actual solutions to Meltdown/Spectre? I don't care how fast their new CPU is if it requires me to run a firmware that turns off all its features in order to run it securely when connected to the internet.

Meltdown is completely an Intel problem and quite serious, Spectre is an all processor problem but far less serious as you need root access to a machine to do any damage and if you have physical access and root it's too late already.
