Intel bags contract with Nokia to supply chips

  1. Intel has seen a breakthrough in its effort to enter the mobile market, winning a contract to supply Nokia with processors. The deal is expected to be announced in a conference call with Anand Chandrasekher, senior vice president of the company’s ultra-mobility sector, according to a person familiar with the matter.

    Does the Intel contract enhance the capability of reception and perhaps improve the performance of notebook computers.

    I'm not sure I understand your question, 10cc. Capability of reception, as in, how well the Intel powered mobile handsets will be acclaimed upon release as opposed to their current chips? Not sure where notebooks come into the picture.
