    Intel has started production of a new wireless chipset called "Kilmer Peak" that will bring support for three versions of WiMAX to notebooks -- something many operators and users have been awaiting.

    Good news if you live in South Korea ,Malaysia or Pakistan ,, and have an Intel chipset.
    Can't see how this affects me tho. Seems Intel is just trying to make one product instead of several across different regions.

    possibly helpful if u travel a lot as in worldwide roaming,wimax might make broadband access like cellular access
