    About time! Although I'd rather have a unified GDDR5 memory like the PS4 will have.

    Yeah, but that would be pretty expensive. I think the upcoming AMD Richland APUs use GDDR5 in some way, not for the GPU, but unified if I am not mistaken. It still uses mainly DDR3 though.
