Internet Connection 50Kps down to 30 Kps?

Hello All.

I’m having a spot of trouble with my internet connection. It’s a standard dial up modem 56Kps and on my line I get an average speed of 50Kps but recently one of the computers will only connect at a speed of 30Kps while the rest still connect at the 50Kps I can’t understand it and my ISP aren’t the best for tech support.

What did you change?
Maybe the phone line has been bent or the plug has become loose so the signal is worse?

Its a laptop and i hook the other laptops up to the internet using the same cable it didnt effect those. I didn't change any settings on the computer and havent installed any new software it has me baffeled. Thanks for the swift reply
