Internet connection

Hi there

I have a HUAWEI usb modem.
One standard lynksys router
One hp desktop and one dell pc.

The usb modem is connected to the hp desktop. The internet connection is 100% here.
The hp is connected to the lynksys router via cat 5 cable.
the dell laptop is connected to the linksys router via cat 5 cable.
File and print sharing is enabled and firewals are turned of.
The router has dhcp enabled.
Pc on workgroup.
Can view and edit shared folders.

How do i setup the dell so that it can use the usb modem through the hp for internet access?

Connect the USB modem to the Linksys Router per the Linksys router instructions. Then connect BOTH computers to the router per instructions

umm why not just set the modem up in ethernet to the router you will have to set the user name and password in the modem and change the ip of the router so that it doesnt match the modems ip.
