I don't know about either of those files. From the information I've gathered from searching around, I most likely received this from downloading MSN Plus!, but the weird thing is, the CiD pop-ups only started a week ago, when I've had MSN Plus! for months. I tried the whole 'uninstall sponsor' thing but it didn't seem to work.

Like I said it is a LOP infection - not necessarily messengerplus sponsor

Do the preliminary removal - SAS and MBAM target LOP, but if they don't remove it then it is easy enough to remove manually

Manually removed. We shall wait and see what happens.

Edit: The two files that rf6647 noted were manually removed by me, but the issue still occurs.

What do you mean by requested logs? The ones from hijackthis?
If you're talking about those ones, I have it attached to my first post.
