Internet Explorer Icon Dissapeared From My Desktop

Hi All


Please help.


My internet explorer has gone from my desktop and also from the start--all program.


Also when i select other files or applications such as control panel it starts to appear than just stops, so cannot see the control panel.


There was a virus which scanned but the anti virus program could not repair it, i chose it to be quaranteed.



Please help...

Sounds like your virus may still be active, or another is running.

You can download a trial version of Ewido here: : http://www.ewido.net/en/

Be sure you update it before using it, and when it finds a problem, be sure to select the check box to do the same action (clean) when it finds a problem, otherwise, you will have to click continue, to keep scanning with every problem it finds.
