Internet stops sporadically

    My Windows 7 HP desktop has sporadic periods where the internet stops working. The computer is on a local wifi connection in which all the other computers experience no problem. I'm not familiar with what diagnostics to do or how to investigate.

    When the internet stops working, the only thing that seems to work is to reboot the computer. Tonight when it happened I left the computer off for an hour and then it worked.

    Any help will be much appreciated.
