In "Properties" my Temp Internet Files folder says I have 347 folders (this increases daily). I cannot see them in Explore. So I cannot delete them. I've tried using Tools to show hidden files. I tried Safe Mode and logging in as an adminstrator and some other things. I would appreciate any suggestions you can offer.
"Invisible Folders" Thanks for the lightning fast response. I am using a dial-up connection so downloading the file you suggested will take a while. But I am curious to know why I can't see those folders.
From here - http://www.personal-computer-tutor.com/deletingtempfiles.htm "Windows XP tends to hang onto temp files more than the earlier versions, so you may run into more that you can't delete." Sorry about the dialup, that can be very painful. If you ever get DSL,you`ll wonder how you survived with dialup.
