I've just got a new ipod nano 7th generation, but when I plug it into my laptop it is recognised by the computer but not by itunes. I have tried all steps on apple support forum articles for this; for itunes not recognising the device; and for error code 37, but it still will not work. When I go to manually install driver usbaapl64 (as one step on the apple website instructed me to do) my "device will not initialize the driver" and I can't find anything telling me how to get it to initialize it!
As far as I am aware it is a problem with the computer not the ipod, as I have the same problem when I connect my samsung phone or other devices. Help please, I'm losing all hope!
