Hello - I am new to these groups and fairly new to networking and would appreciate any help.

I have a home desktop computer that is supported / set up to remotely VPN to my work account. It uses Cisco vpn and rsa softid.

What I really want to be able to do is connect from my pocket pc (via Real VNC) to my home desktop and then initiate a VPN connection to my work accound. For some reason I can get connected to my home PC but when I start up Cisco VPN, the moment I log in I get disconnected.

Anyone know whats going on here?

Chris

No, chaining one VPN into another is not going to work. The whole point of VPN
is an end-to-end connection between KNOWN parties. Any other VPN chaining into
an existing VPN connection, or even a local lan system where there is a VPN
connection represents an unknown party and therefore is not trusted.

ok...thanks anyway

 thanks
