Is my power supply upside down?

I just installed a graphics card and an OCZ 500W modXstream power supply into my computer, and now that I have finished I have a feeling that I installed it the wrong way. The fan is facing down and is located at the top of my case. Can someone tell me if it is facing the wrong way?

Hopefully the attached picture helps.

Hi georgek7
That is the correct orientation for the PSU. it draws air into the unit by the fan (facing down) and exits the air out the back of the case.

You can re-arrange the cards for better flow of the air... or direct the flow of air through changes to the wiring and sheet metal... Use wire or plastic ties to move some of the flat cables out of the way
Or get a different power supply with a better configuration.

Yeah, your power supply is installed the right way. They can generally only be installed one way anyway. The large fan on the power supply draws air into the unit, it doesnt blow hot air back out into the pc.
