Ok so after my laptop notebook kept breaking and then saying hardware was corrupt.

I diagnosed my 2gig stick of ram to be broken.

after searching for about 4 weeks or something i find no ram to replace.

i give up and put my 2gig stick back in hoping that it was maybe one of the ram holder things.

somehow my ram is working again???

no i put my 1gig and my 2 gig into the laptop and i get errors...

when the screen loads i see that my laptop is cheking system files on c:

it is doing a disk chek which iv never ever seen this screen in my whole life.

Can someone explain whats going on...

is my ram broken or not?

after doing memsdet it said i failed within 10 seconds.... so im just confused...

and if anyone can help me find:

SDRAM DDR3 PC3-8500 204-pin (2GB) ram that is compatible with the: Acer Aspire 5935G-663G32Bn

    then il be happy. :)

(reset my laptop and everything is working fine but i think id rather replace my ram anyways... something is really fishy about this...)

We cannot help much without brand, model, age
I would start with a total re-install, perhaps on a new hard drive.]
Otherwise tell us the brand and source of the memory.

Yes without details it is hard to locate the problem but my intuition says, the ram is alright. [IMG]

The first thing to do is test for all the problems with just one memory module, then shut down and replace with the other module then test again. It is not likely that both are bad.
Also, a memory socket might be bad.
But the usual suspect is the Acer board.
