Alright, i just bought a home theather reciever, i have my television hooked up to it. I wanted to know is there a way to hook my reciever to my my sound card to get sound off my computer through my reciever. Help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Yes all you need is an audio cable consisting of one 3.5mm stereo jack plug at one end and two male phono plugs at the other end.

Then you plug the 3.5mm jack into the line out of your soundcard and the phono plugs into a spare input on your amplifier.

These leads are readily available at most audio shops.

If your soundcard has output jack for digital/optical audio, I'd use that instead. It can give a real surround sound for your home theater instead of stereo (or Dolby Surround Pro Logic II).
