All amd64 cpus have a hypertransport. So basically any socket 939 cpu should work fine. I used a 3000+ cpu.
Yes, regular ram is non-ecc and unbuffered, that's what I have, corsair value select cas 2.5 ram.
It means you should put two sticks of ram in the first two slots to run ddr400 dual channel. If you fill all four slots it should still work at ddr400 if you have a venice core amd processor(venice supposedly fixed the four memory slot problem), but winchester(the current cpus at it's release) and older might have to run four ram sticks at ddr333.
That psu should work, but I wouldn't recommend it. You can get a better psu for only a slightly higher price.
