whats a good demo to test this out?
i tried lost planet but demo is not functional :(

Try the FEAR or CS:S demo. In any case, wouldn't an X1950PRO be a better buy? Or was it out of your budget?

i can play Fear, bioshock, painkiller with no probs all maxed
i wanted to play Lost planet but i can't find a demo that works without having to be some kind of tech;and it says i need 3.5 cpu
which seems realy high for a game, mine is an AMD 2400+ xp and its only 2.4 ghrz never had a gaming prob. memory and vid card i think basicly decide what you can play for the most part. oh and did i tell you all your just simply marvelous i'm serious i feel near guilty just with the little BP i do (BP = brain piken).

And to answer your question i'm on a very limited budget

video cards have got to be the toughest thing to get if your not well funded and can't just buy top end as it come up.there are so many don't know which brans cards are comparable and the price don't help you can pay more for a 7 series than some of the 8's. and if 8800 gtx is best then what are those cards that cost 7 or 8k? (dx10 is it only for vista and why?)

oh and how much can i overclock this 7800gs?
and will i have to change setting in config. b4 startup?
