I'm wondering if this is a good internet connection for gaming?

I'm wondering because although I don't lag when playing Warock or Republic Commando, I lag to the poitn of being kicked off for Halo 1. I want to play BF2 so I'm wonderign whether this is good enough.

Yes, that is good enough. It may be that you have something downloading in the background. I have 128kb/s DSL here and get an average of 70ping, the lower the better.

Wait are you sure? I was playing Guild Wars and my ping averaged at 200, sometimes even shooting up to 900 for a couple of seconds? Was this because the average ping was so high?(2,000-3,000) Or is my internet connection bad?

Well, what kind of connection are you running? Is it cable, wireless, sattelite, etc.?

If its sattelite, then thats why. Sattelite is not good for gaming.

I don't know WHY anyones would be 2000.... that is outrageous. My DIAL UP gets 200-300.
