Is this PSU good for gaming?

    The power supply will work fine for your system. Also upgrade XP to SP3 while you are at it

    Tuniq is a fine power supply... if it makes it through the first 30 days.

    Not that great a PSU, it has far lesser power on the +12V rails than other 650W PSUs, plus there's no info on the OEM. There's a reason it's so cheap.

    But still, it should be fine unless you upgrade to a faster card or get a quad-core CPU and OC it. Be sure to keep it cool too (aka get as many case fans as you can).

    But it has the advantage of being available in parts of the world where the top ones are not sold due to high cost, and the price is closer to right in areas with conomic probs... against its own competitive area, it is sometimes the only choice.
    In the US, we have 84 power supplies available by my count... with at least one online seller having 42 different ones that are code 2.00 or higher.

    Then why would he post a Newegg link to the PSU? I understand what you are saying raybay, but unless the OP explicitly mentions where they are located, a Newegg link just tells me they are somewhere in the US.
