ISHost, ISMini, ISNotify and Win32.Myzor.FK@yf Issues, I just dont get it!

  1. Alright, so I have been working on this computer for about 16 total hours trying to find this virus/trojan. I have found that NOD32 picked it up and supposedly deleted it, but every time I try to open IE instead of going to the home page it takes me to this site 'Youre Insecure' and pops up a message window telling me I'm infected with Win32.Myzor.fk@yf I believe that ISHost and such are related to this, although I cant be sure. I have been searching through windows\system32\ for hours and I cant find ISHost.exe ISMini.exe or ISnotify, when I try to delete them through the CMD it says they arent there, yet I'm still getting errors with it? HJT doesnt show a thing. Seriously, this is one virus that seems to continue eluding me.

Hiya! Please rename the HiJackThis.exe program to another name, since some malware hides from its original name. Then have a read of these instructions, posting your new HJT log and also the AVG log as well

    preliminary removal instructions

Will try and post results as soon as I can, snowed in and stuck away from the computer.

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above you decide you want to clean your system, follow the instructions in the link N3051M gave you.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

    Regards Howard
