Numerous ISPs including Verizon, Comcast and Time Warner are about to become copyright cops.
You can not be a copyright cop without first knowing what copyrights are being infringed upon. Without knowing what my rights are, how are they to know what rights I have infringing upon. This is going to be a failed attempt at controlling people.
If they cannot stop pirating at its source, what makes them think they can control pirating at its destination? Charging someone for high bandwidth usage is not proving they are pirating. This is only going to stir up trouble with bandwidth regulations.
Mercifully, they haven't said anything about porn.....
Yup, otherwise we will have a massive crisis at our hands ............ hmm on the other hand does that mean pron will still be at mercy of pirates?
On a more serious note, I think this is taking things too far, and in a way they are saying 'everyone is a thief' ......... but that is just my opinion.
