ITunes not enough space help

Anyone heard of the error below. First here what I was doing: I was moving more music - several artist (all have there own folder (well subfolder I suppose it would be) anyway I ended up with the following error

"There is not enough space on iTunes. You need addition space..."

I have lots on my hard drive

another thing is happening is that when try to rename any folder it says I need to have permission to do this and I do but Try Again keeps poping up
