Kaser Storage Vault = No Power

I have a 500gb external HD (Kaser Storage Vault). Has always worked fine, but all of a sudden it is not working.

The LED light doesn't light up, it makes no sounds when I turn it on. I'm wondering if maybe the power cord died?

My PC hasn't had any issues with or without the HD running. I'm running on Windows XP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Yes it is possible that the AC adapter, if it has a transformer, can be bad. The drive case could be bad too

So I guess my question is what can I do about it, if anything?

Yes, you can take it in to a place like Best Buy and see if they can check out the Vault or try to recover your data and put it on another drive
