Keyboard error,cant type password to fix

Kids just installed a wireless mouse that somehow messed up the keyboard. Just trying to reinstall but without keyboard I can not type in password to access admin account in XP.

Hi,

Try attaching the old mouse,if you haven`t already.

It could also be that the keyboard plug was knocked or loosened

when said kids,were fiddling.

Nice suggestion, all secure, just need to reinstall kb.

The computer should install a basic kb driver from start up.

That should be independent of any other driver.

Go into "Safe Mode" (tap F8 at start up) and uninstall the wireless

mouse or use System Restore.
