Keyboard problem

  1. When I started my computer suddenly I could not enter password for Windows XP. I entered Windows XP safe mode and checked regional settings of my keyboard layout which seems to be OK (default US layout). When I try to type in any program my keyboard does not work properly. When I pres p the print dialog box pops up, when I press s save dialog box appears and so on. Some keys do not respond at all. I tried to change regional settings (Control panel) of my keyboard to different language and then back to default and it does not help. I also tried to type a password in BIOS and keyboard works fine. It seems to me a Windows problem. Any suggestions?

Sounds like either the ALT or CTRL key is stuck, have you tried another keyboard ?
