Partaking in the CES festivities, LaCie has introduced a new media center device, a NAS, and a handful of portable drives. The LaCinema Min HD set-top can stream content from Mac and Windows computers or network storage. The device is equipped with 500GB of storage, USB, Ethernet, 802.11n, and HDMI, and supports 1080p video streaming as well as many popular formats, including DivX, AVC and MKV.
The company's recently announced NAS (simply titled Network Server) would make a perfect companion for the LaCinema. With room for five storage drives, the Network Server sports gigabit Ethernet and runs Windows Home Server.
LaCie has also introduced a new rugged USB 3.0 external hard drive, and two new flash drives. Few details about the rugged HDD are available, but it can reportedly reach transfer rates up to 110MB/s. USB 2.0 models have been available in 250GB, 320GB or 500GB, so the USB 3.0 device may land in similar capacities.

The flash drives, CooKey and WhizKey, feature a water and scratch-resistant construction with metal housings that resemble an actual key. Using the USB 2.0 spec, the drives can attain transfer speeds of up to 30MB/s, and are available sizes from 4GB ($20) to 32GB ($100).
As with many of LaCie's products, the USB 3.0 external drive and flash drives come with Wuala online storage. The former receives 10GB for a year, and the latter 4GB for two years.
