Lagging screen on certain games

  1. I have a lagging screen that has some kind of lag spike every 5 seconds or so when im playing saints row. i have a radeon hd 6950 graphics card. this does not happen with my other games so im curious. plz help

    Try lowering the saints row settings and see if it plays better

    have u ever throuht maybe it ur cpu or ram or ur hard drive is need of defrag

    If you haven't already, download and install the latest game patches.

    Im playing it on a gtx460 on high settings 50+ fps. Is your firewall preventing access? Try turning vsync on (this is not from lag though).

    i have an i7 2600k, 1.72 tbs of memory left and 4 gigs of ram

    "1.72 tbs of memory left"...
    this is hard drive space

    "4 gigs of ram"
    this is system memory, understand now?

    People like to call hard drive space memory, but we can say this for SSD drives and really be correct now
