    I have been using my N61Jq for a while now and I have noticed the cpu getting quite hot, the lowest temp on idle is 72c, I bought a Thermaltake cooling pad, but it only makes a small few degrees difference. When on the title screen of Minecraft it can get to 95c, and while playing it can get to it's TJMax, 100c. I really need help, I don't want to destroy my pc, but if I can't use it safely, it is useless.

    72c on idle? Something is wrong.

    Close any running processes you don't need and maybe think about cleaning the laptop vents.
