Everything worked great until my house lost power a few days ago. Ever since the power came back on, I can only connect to my private internet network if I use a wired connection to the router.

The strange thing is, I can connect to my neighbors unsecured network wirelessly, but my home network doesn't even come up on the list of networks!

I've reset the router and modem a number of times, but no dice. I have a Linksys WRT160. I'd appeciate your help!

Usually, a removal and reinstall of the router software or the wireless unit or both, takes care of the problem. Be sure to check firmware as well as software.

Rest how? using the little button?
Instead, disconnect all cables to the router and power off -- let it sit for at least 30 seconds.

recable to the modem and then power on the router.

wait another 30 seconds for the router to sync with the modem

now reset using the button.

Cable a lan conection to the router, access the router config page, login
now make sure the WiFi settings include Enable Radio
