Laptop Charger question

Hey all,

I just got given a Novatech from a friend. The battery takes a 20v 4.5amp charger, and ive only got one that is 20v 6amps.

I plugged it in briefly, it turned on fine. But im not sure about using it on there because the amp is so much higher... will it end up doing damage too the laptop? Or completly frying it?

No the 6 amp adapter/charger won't hurt the laptop. The laptop will only use as much amperage as it needs, and no more. it is okay to use
