Hey all,

First, this is my first post on this forum, I found this forum when looking for a solution on my problems with the laptop.

The laptop is a Dell xps L10701X (nearly one year old)
The specs are:

CPU = i7
GPU= nvidea 445M (3gb, non shared ram)
HDD = 2x 500gb
Ram = 12 gb DDR3 1333
OS = windows 7 64 bit ultimate (clean install just 2 hours ago)

2 out of 3 times i boot, the computer just freezes on booting, always happens during the windows logo.
When it boots it just takes a game or a video to totally freeze the notebook, the screen turns black when that happens.

Yesterday I have someone from Dell to replace my mainboard, but that didn't fix the problem.

Any help would be greatly apriciated.

Did you download and install all the Windows 7 updates after re-installing Windows including service pack 1. Run Windows Update until no more updates are found
