Laptop keeps shocking me

    Hey guys when ever I get up from where I have my laptop that is on my grounded C.B. when ever I touch it to put it back on my lap it shocks me and my moniter flickers on and off for a couple of seconds anyone know whats going on here? I dont have any money to get it repaired if something is going wrong

    I would assume it does it when charger is plugged in which I would say u got a faulty charger try borrow one from someone with same voltage for few hours and test .. but I would say dont u se it till u get it checked

    Nope it does it when my charger isnt plugged in only

    I would assume there is a a/c current flowing inside somwhere or wire loose this needs to get checked asap as could be very dangerous

    Okay well time to tear it apart im guessing my moniter cause I was replacing my cpu the other day

    Had a similar problem. My issue was with the earthing in my home. Faulty wiring may also cause shocks!

    Well I got it fixed I had one positive moniter cable not fully on

    It's a discharge, happens with my MBP and Lenovo Y400. Just get use to it. :)
