Laptop LCD Display

  1. Hey, i've got an laptop with a perfectly fine working LCD. This is what i want to do.
The computer itself is quite old and i have dismatled it and i still want to use the display (wanna do some thing cool with it). '
But now to the problem. The cable from the harware of the laptops internal GFX unit uses an odd-looking flat cable. I was wondering if any one knows where to buy this adaptor to use this display with and conventional VGA cable?
This must be possible in some way, i guess

It is possible but they can be expensive!!! To be able to get any prices for you, it would be useful if we knew where you are in the world!!!!!
