One of my computers is a Compaq Presario with 512MB of Ram and AMD Turion 64 processor and 40Gig hardrive.
Earlier the computer was operating fine, then I turned it off for a little while and turned it back on. When I turned it back on all the fans would kick on, and the computer would try to start, but then gets into a visious cycle of trying to start windows xp, not getting anywhere so starting over again from scratch. It will do this for ever and never actually load anything.
I have checked the RAM and it is in tight...if I am fast enough I can get it to load into BIOS and everything works fine in BIOS...this is the extent of my knowladge though, any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated...I atleast need to be able to get on the computer to get everything that I need off the hardrive before I scfrap the computer.
