Laptop will suddenly shut down

My Samsung R510, the fan run fast and its causing the fan to start roaring and the vents to get hot, the laptop will suddenly shut down.. I would appreciate any advice from any one!

That is an over heating problem - - set the fan to always run and at full cooling.

Lift the laptop up from the desk. Don't use it on the bed etc, where vents get closed.

Maybe give it a clean if it's old.

Definitely sounds like an overheating problem. You might need to get a can of air and clean the vents off or not use it on something that does not slightly elevate it. Last thing could be depending on the age that the Thermal paste is bad or the Heatsink has separated.

Try cleaning it up first and keeping it elevated, if the problem persists you might want to check a repair shop depending on price.
