Laptop Wireless Connection not functioning

    What is the problem if the wireless connection in laptops is not present?
    Even if i turn on the switch for the wireless connection nothing happens. I can't detect any wireless connection. Is this a hardware issue?

    Please help me. Thanks!

    A good Question. I am working with Windows since the very first release and mostly this problem is a Software Problem and not a Hardware one. I believe if you have the correct Wireless driver installed you will not have such a problem.
