    Hi everyone

I am having a problem starting up my laptop.

The model is ACER, that’s all I know!

I can’t start it up… it sounds like it wants to start up, BUT it makes this noise only once, a beeping noise.

It just completely shut down on me. I went out of my room for like 2 minutes maybe not even && it won’t start up again!!

Can anyone help or let me know what happened?

    Thanks a bunch

What model is the Acer and do you have an exact beep code?

I'm not sure with laptops, however, with desktops beep codes most commonly cite some form of RAM error. Reseat your RAM, and then try one module individually in each of the SO-DIMM slots.

How old is the ACER and how much use has it had.
If it had any lateral impact while in use, it could have damaged the hard drive.
Any beep is not a good sign. When memory or video graphics fail, you can get a beep... also, if the cpu fan fails.
Any chance you can borrow a laptop hard drive to test.
