I have noticed that my PC is creating download/upload even when it has no obvious internet activity, I.e. when the PC is "only on" and connected to router wireless network (without running any updates in background). For instance in 60 minutes the PC makes cca. 30 MB download and 60 MB upload!
When I disable the network on PC there is no upload/download traffic (router wireless network is of course still on) which is a proof for me that this particular PC is a cause.
Therefore, I am suspicious regarding bots/hijackers and similar. I have run scans with ESET, Spybot Search and Destroy and HauseCall, but they didnt found any threat. Only RUBotted informs me that there is a malicious softver remotely operated on my PC.
