Tried to open Yahoo Chat in Yahoo email like usual, said I had to have the latest version of Adobe Flash, so downloaded per instructions. Didn't get the right icon on the desktop, when I click on what I did get it says it's not a valid Win32 app.

    Now what?

It's been a whole 2 weeks since my last Windows problem, about par for the course.

XP sp3, latest Firefox Yahoo version.

    what to do?

    Thx

I would try removing the current flash and then reinstall it. Without the Yahoo stuff.

I have heard the latest version of Adobe's Flash ( Ver 10 ) is causing problems
and recommend going "back" to version 9 . Otherwise, would recommend you
read Scott Dunn's "Flah ads bearing malware plague popular sites" available at
    http://WindowsSecrets.com/comp/080417, particularly the 3 different "Option"s .
