wait, what exactly are you trying to do? the password I gave you is to unrar the file and access the iso. what the cd does is different. with the dst-cd you can change or delete the service tag, thats it. for dell latitude and inspiron models this procedure will also remove the bios configuration password which locks all bios settings and makes it unable to change the boot order for example.
the cd will not let you clear the system password or hdd password which you need to pass the gray/white authentication screen!

its not allowed to post paid services in this forums!
I think we all know alot of guys who do this for money and there is alot more out there in ebay and behind some other websites...

be happy with what you have now. those who want to use what you've found will surely contact you.

to all who looking for a free method of password removal on all dell laptops without eeprom - wait for a 2-3 years, and i think someone give you the generator for free.
  12. mscrx Newcomer, in training Posts: 829

thats right for as long nobody shares knowledge and has eyes for money only...

btw does anyone know how the dell e-series will have the passwords "stored"?
  13. simlock Newcomer, in training

correct me if im wrong but it sounds like double standards you cant offer paid services but you will give free password when good and ready to people who might have stolen laptops, ok no probs its just an offer to people who cant wait forever thats all no hidden aganda i do mobile phone unlocking for a living this guy who does it also is apart of the unlocking org and he now offeres this service he is trustable i would not post her otherwise he also offers it on ebay which i admit is dodgy im just being realistic

you're right but thats policy here, no paid offers.
and from my point of view it doesn't matter to sell passwords or give them out for free to somebody who might have stolen a laptop. you could also say to not sell gas to anybody because he might have stolen the car...
personally I think that not more than 1% of the requests here are for laptops that have been stolen. I mean this is like putting an add in the newspaper asking for keys for a stolen car. there are people here that work for dell and they could check the service tags and post a stolen one.

well, nevertheless for me its more about the technology that I'd like to understand and maybe use for something else.
to be honest I'd also like to have a password generator because we have more than 8000 dell computers in our company and I take care of around 2300. the problem is that dell europe charges $20 per master password. that multiplies....

    hope this clarifies

    Hello!

Like many others i've got password issue... i mean the one to change BIOS settings. i've messed up a bit in my dell, and i have to fix it, but i need that password. i tried ways mentioned here, but they didn't work out for me

i'd be gratefull for a ready-made solution (the password)
for dell latitude CSx and tag #614230J-595B

    thanks in advance !

    hello again...

Thanks for advice, but it didn't work.I fight to load sysrem for 2 days now... I'm desperate ! I'm floppy bootable only, with no system, so i need to change boot order. I think, now only the master password would help me.
    i may be wrong
still open for other solutions, but i'd prefere just to change the boot order.

    dell latitude CSx #614230J-595B

    thanks in advance

mscrx, just think, how much will be costs the development of this generator.
and, when you think about this, you'll see, that it will costs about 5-6 k$. and then, think, why me, after paying this money, have to share this generator for free? i'll lost money.
  19. mscrx Newcomer, in training Posts: 829

usefool, if you use the dst floppy it should work. if you already did, what 'error' do you get?

lamo, I am not sure about cost because I believe in open source. of course the open source guys have their ways of earning money as well but if you can get some enthusiastic folks with some more knowledge than me together, it can work.
btw I was asking you a couple of times how you read the pw from the dump. if you don't want to tell me, than please say so otherwise I will ask again and again :D no offence! I really admire guys like you and I would like to have their knowledge...

    lamo:
these few dollars are not a problem (as an amount of money) but i don't have a credit card, and i'm not from US. i understand your frustration, but you have to understand my situation aswell. i don't want to steal it from you.

    mscrx:
the dst floppy i found is password protected, and i think not free, and as you can read above i just cant pay for it.
    looking forward for new suggestions...
