Was previously having trouble with my GSA-H20L not recognizing DVD media. Installed latest firmware and now the drive recognizes DVDs but will not recognize any CD-R/RW media. Any suggestions on how to correct this? Thanks!

Hi, i have exact piece of dvd-drive like yours. Here is the suggestion as mine couldnt play dvd in the past.
remove the drive, start the computer without it, set the jumper to "master" and then insert the dvd-drive back. remember, ide cable should not inverted (trial and error). When you start windows after inserting the dvd drive, there should not be any disc present until next restart. hope it works
