A report from TMWatch points at LG and Google getting together to produce Chrome OS devices in the future.

The report is based on trademarks LG has filed for what sound like Chrome OS products: "ChromeOne," "ChromeDesk," and "ChromeStation." The three trademarks were filed last week on October 16 by LG's Korean headquarters in conjunction with its Australian legal partner.

As some have suggested, this could point at three new Chrome OS hardware devices coming down the pipeline. Each of the trademarks cover the same range of products classes including "Laptop computers; Computers; Convertible computers; Tablet computers."

It is not all that surprising of a move if it does indeed come to fruition, LG signed patent deals with Microsoft covering both Android and Chrome OS devices last year. Not to mention, the Korean company also teamed up with Google for the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 which leaked last week, appearing on the Google Play Store for a very short time with a 16GB configuration at $349.

Acer and Samsung have both been in the Chrome OS business for a little while with Lenovo and HP also now getting in on the action. It is somewhat surprising that it took LG this long to make a play on the Chrome OS market.

Sounds like a Plan to push more Android and Chrome small and larger mainstream devices out into the marketplace. It's not just a small world after all with only just Microsoft Windows OS at the helm!

Now that Microsoft screwing up Windows with every new release, Ubuntu & Chrome OS has better chances of capturing market shares.
C'mon. They're not that bad but not that great at the moment. It's a dog at dog world and MS has opened the door a crack for the hyena's. Nothing lasts forever.
