Lightning hits newbie

Lightning hit nearby a couple of days ago. When I turned on my PC, I could see Windows loading dimly on my monitor. After several moments of this, the monitor's status showed "no signal." I hooked up another monitor and it did the same thing, ruling out monitor damage. I've looked at the back and inside the case and can't see any signs of burned wires or scorched surfaces.

I'm not sure if I'm on the right forum but if anyone has any advice on what the problem might be, I would appreciate the input. I would like to know if it would be worth trying to get it fixed or if I should just trash it.

Check the motherboard's capacitors make sure they are not bulging or leeking.

First thing to try is another power supply.

Edit:

Check Capacitor plague

Chances are a power supply replacement will fix you up, just remember, some components might live shorter depending on how good your power supply protected them before scrifing itself
