Something has happened to my Limewire. It no longer opens correctly and whenever i try to get into my shared folder to delete the files my Windows Search (which is the only way you can find said Shared Folder) says it has encountered an error and must close. Something is in my shared folder im sure but i cant get into it. Can anyone help?

Hello GSK and welcome to TechSpot.

Have you tried going into Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and removing Limewire?

If that doesn't work, try booting into safe mode (see how here) and removing it from there.

Please let us know if it works or not.

    Regards :)

    Hey :)

I have removed Limewire from my computer but the shared folder and everything i downloaded from Limewire is still present. But it wont let me anywhere near it to delete it :(

I will try this safe mode process. Thanks :)
