  1. IE8, Firefox and Chrome

Been having a problem since yesterday, when I couldn't get to Google https sites but they're now working.

Now there are some site that I can go to and some that I can't but links from the sites that I can go to don't work.

I got here using a proxy.

hijack this; bitdefender and superantispyware found nothing.

Any help would be much appreciated,

    Vista

Michael, can you tell me what happens when "links from the sites that I can go to don't work."?

Are these all also secure links> https?

If you would like us to check the system for malware, please follow the steps in the Preliminary Virus and Malware Removal thread HERE.

When you have finished, leave the logs for review in your next reply .
NOTE: Logs must be pasted in the replies. Attached logs will not be reviewed.

Please do not use any other cleaning programs or scans while I'm helping you, unless I direct you to. Do not use a Registry cleaner or make any changes in the Registry.

These scans may pickup entries missed in the scans you previously ran.

    Bobbye, thanks for the reply.

I went back to a clone that I'd made just a few days ago and all is well.

Okay Michael. Consider checking for malware entries.
